Cruises, Prices and Information: Typically, $500 for up to six passengers for a three-hour cruise. Your personal cruise can be as long as you'd like, but the ideal cruise would be about 3 hours. Full-day cruises (about 6 - 8 hrs) are also popular. - call for details.
S.V. Boston Light will board and return to the Rowes Wharf or India Wharf dock at the heart of Boston Harbor. The docking schedules require us to depart at our designated time. You may board 15 minutes prior to departure. Light snacks and soft drinks are provided. You are free to bring a bottle of wine or your favorite beverages and snacks as well.
Your Personalized Cruise
Beyond when we depart and when we return, we set no itinerary, but will be happy to accommodate your requests if possible. We move to the rhythm of wind and tide, so every sail is a personalized Boston Harbor sailing adventure! You're welcome, but never required, to join in the sailing fun. Take the wheel, haul on the lines, crank on the winches, help raise the sails, or just curl up and relax. Our Sunset Sail ends with the tradition of the U.S.S. Constitution’s canon marking the end of the day.
Rules: (For everyone's comfort, we have a few simple rules.)
- Excessive drinking is strictly forbidden.
- We must set a minimum age of five.
- A sailboat is a working vessel, and it comes with certain risks, so it’s not for anyone in poor or frail health.
Cancellations:
- Reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis.
- Your reservation will be confirmed when we receive your payment, or when your concierge receives your non-refundable $50 deposit per cruise. You'll receive a ticket for your party of up to six from your concierge that you must bring with you.
- Cancellations received within 24 hours of the sailing date will be refunded (except the non-refundable deposit received by your concierge).
Cancellations Due to Weather:
- It's the captain’s prerogative to cancel due to dangerous conditions or a threatening forecast.
- Cruises may be shortened if changing weather conditions warrant.
- Cancellations due to weather will be rescheduled.
